Its out now Bajaj has finally launched 135cc Pulsar. Priced at about 53000 (ex showroom Delhi ) they are planning to snatch a piece of 125cc segment where crrently Hero honda glamour rules.
Bajaj strtegy is to use the the sporty image of pulsar range to sell 135cc motorcycle. But do they think that young followers will appericiate their this step. Pasting Pulsar name on some 135cc bike can bring them success is a question yet to be answered.
Leave aside the technical specifictions of Pulsar135 everybody will agree that it will have nothing common with pulsar family except name Pulsar pasted on it.
Then there is another question will the 35+ customers will like its seating and styling considering they ride extensively with a pillion generally their better halves.
So its like a mix of some Pulsar some Discover.
Pricing is good and pulsar name may bring in some customers for short time but then what about the sporty image Pulsar family has?
Are they risking their Pulsar fan followings and gifting it to tvs and yamaha?
